At Red Brush we believe that if you have a plan than the hardest part is done. Whether it is a small pergola or a custom home, having a plan and communicating that plan throughout the construction process is crucial to the relationship between the owner and builder.

Once a design is reached and the proposal accepted, we start cutting. Most everything we build here at red brush (from small pergolas to large equestrian barns) is pre-cut on our property, then assembled on site.
When the timber frame is cut and ready to assemble, we then ship it out to the site. Dependent on the size and complexity of frame, on-site time could vary from a couple days to many weeks. Red Brush likes to make the frame raising a spectacle so invite your family and friends to experience the raising.
If a house, barn or shed, we will enclose the frame with a shell. There are many methods and materials to use to accomplish this. If its a barn it may just require rough cut planking on the exterior but a house may require SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels).
We at red brush can help refer and consult on many interior finishes and processes

From a Custom home, the gazebo in the yard, to the mail box post out front, Red Brush uses mortise and tenon joinery to create breathtaking wooden structures. These structures are held together by wooden pegs, not by metal screws.
Though we are not interested in the full dismantlement of old barns, we love to prolong their existence. We offer restoration work for these old frames. Whether it be replacing a rotten post or adding an addition to an existing frame.
We offer custom wood joined furniture and commissioned timber artwork
